What is a hotspot?
A hotspot is a venue that offers Wi-Fi access. The hotspot is an internet bubble thrown over your property and your customers, via their laptops or PDA, can access the internet for business or entertainment purposes. Of the estimated 150 million laptops, 14 million PDAs, and other emerging Wi-Fi devices sold per year for the last few years, most include the Wi-Fi feature.
Hotspots are often found at restaurants, train stations, airports, libraries, motels, resorts, coffee shops, bookstores, fuel stations, department stores, supermarkets and other public places. Many universities and schools have wireless networks.
How does it work ?
To operate a Wireless hotspot all you need is a Broadband Internet Connection with a Static IP address. You simply plug-and-play. All of the backend authorisation, authentication and accounting is taken care of by WiFi Zone technical team.
